MAMA dear...

Happy Birthday!

We know that it must be hurting on your part to reluctantly leave the endeavor you loved so much through the years. We are certain that you still want to continue your noble profession for as long as you are still breathing. However, having reached the age of 65 after so many decades of teaching to hungry and enthusiastic minds, under the law, is more than enough to finally enjoy the fruits of your labor. And the best reward that you may be getting from this whole experience is the thought that your burning passion and love for imparting your knowledge will forever be etched into the hearts of your students and other people whom you have come across with.

While inevitably and technically, you have to take your well-deserved break after serving this school since time immemorial, there are still some people who are dying to learn so many things from you. These people, who will never be tired of hearing your encouraging and inspiring words, are very grateful to have you as their mother. You have raised these people in the most unique and special way. Although these people are not perfect for they may have unintentionally caused you pain from time to time, they are very much willing to make up for their mistakes and weaknesses and make your life better and worth-living. For these people love you so much, they intend to give you all the best that this world could ever offer. These people are US...your family...your children, children-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and husband.

Let the age of 65 serve as the new chapter in your life. Please share the rest of your being with us as we share the fullness of our lives with you.
